Brent Vandermeer joined the company in the spring of 1997 and over the years has successfully built a practice based on solid financial planning and investment management.

His areas of specialty include investment management, insurance* and the development of personalized financial plans for his clients. Combining numerous elements into a written financial plan helps to ensure that his client’s objectives are met. Through consistent communication with his clients and a unique “Plan vs. Actual” report, he helps ensure clients are progressing towards the achievement of their final objectives. Brent is committed to this process and is confident that he will provide timely, accurate and personal advice and service to you.

Brent is also the Branch Manager of the firm, which holds the additional responsibility for overseeing the integrity and compliance of all branch activities.

Brent is a graduate of the University of Ottawa business school with an Honours degree in Commerce, majoring in Finance. Over the years he has continued developing his expertise by taking many other industry-specific courses/designations relating to investment management, insurance and risk management.

Outside of the office, Brent, his wife Lisa and son Ryan, enjoy spending time together, reading, traveling and a wide variety of sports, especially running and triathlon.
